The history of Omega project has all the hallmarks of a classic story of people who at the beginning have mouths full of big words and make big plans, and at the end argue and fight vigorously, blaming themselves for the failed business model and the harm of ordinary people who believed in it. Not being judgmental towards the people who lost their money in the Omega project, we might however ask one fundamental question. Was it really so difficult to predict its inevitable end? The beginnings

At the end of 2018, a group of entrepreneurs launched a new business based on cryptocurrency trading. Omega Group was based out of Kiev, Ukraine, co-founded  by CEO Bartosz Nafalski and CFO Lukas Bozek. It operated in the cryptocurrency MLM niche.

At that time the the creators claimed that Omega is one of the most innovative investment platforms, combining the latest information technologies and effective marketing methods. The key to the project’s success was investing in highly profitable ventures around the world, such as innovative start-ups or cryptocurrency mining. Omega boasts of an international community of users who are actively involved in performing tasks for which they receive remuneration.
The people standing behind the Omega project spared no expences on advertorials at the launchig phase of the project. In one of them Mr Nafalski  was explaining and advertising the network marketing system which was combined with the platform. According to him Omega was the world’s first large international business structure that used the Multilevel Sales Model (MLM) to build a powerful international community used to implement large business projects.
I don’t want to bore you with the details of the marketing campaing, because you probably know them so well already. It’s actually a classic. So there was of course investing bitcoins in projects that were carried out on the platform, lucrative loyalty programs, champagne-covered bombastic corporate events that took place all over the world. Promises, promises, eternal dreams of power. The business was blooming, people were investing. That was the only thing that counted.

What went wrong with Omega project

The legal authorities are warning against the Omega Group. People have lost their money. These are two facts. But let’s have a closer look and according to our knowledge analize what really went wrong with the Omega project.

CEO

Bartosz Nafalski – a man with huge successes in traditional business, an expert in tax optimization, international transfers, the owner of a strong holding company, but he started Omega with practically zero knowledge about the specifics of the MLM international market.

The profits

It was a big mistake to agree with the leading leaders that the company in the first period in order to win the market would pay out capital with profit every week. Initially Active box for 6 months had 30% profit and an annual 70%. Participants could even generate up to 300% per year thanks to the folding percentage. In short, the brutal truth – no operating business can cover that 300%.

Large additional payments for marketing activities 

Huge amounts for 2-3 Top Leaders who started this project. To clarify, you can make a good event without 5-6 luxury cars , whose rental tripled the cost of the event.

Late change in calculation

At some point the company began to pay out weekly, only profit – without capital. However, as it turned out later at that time, cash flow practically did not exist anymore. In addition, the introduced change was retroactive and re-shopping charges were canceled in the system, which drastically reduced trust in the company.

Believing leaders from Asia

Especially from China, that from September 2019 the turnover will increase rapidly, which never happened.

Fatal implementation of matrix systems 

The whole platform stopped working for a month, which caused a wave of distrust. To clarify, the matrix system has never started functioning properly.

Epilogue

Currently, the owners and the main 2-3 top leaders are  blaming themselves with great stubbornness and the conflict between them increases.

The victims still have not recovered the money invested…
