Konrad Gandera is in his mid-twenties and he is a rising star of the polish MLM company DuoLife. Despite his young age, his business path is a success story. What does Kondrad Gandera do in network marketing, how he does it and what is his way to success. You will find out all of this and more from our in-depth interview.
HELLO KONRAD GANDERA, NICE TO HAVE YOUR HERE AT RANKINGMLM.COM. LET ME BEGIN BY QUOTING YOU. YOU CLAIM THAT “THESE DAYS THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, BUT ITS EXCESS”. WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?
These days, the infinite source of information is Internet. Information to which everyone has access, but no one checks it. When you type the words “MLM” or “network marketing” in the Google search engine a lot of pages, blogs, forums and statements from people who “know better” are displayed. Unfortunately. often these people are theorists who have never been active in multi-level marketing and their comments have nothing to do with the reality. People who look for reliable information are unable to distinguish true opinions from speculating.
WHO IS THE SOCIAL MEDIA WORLD CHAMPION TODAY? IN TERMS OF BUSINESS OF COURSE. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO NAME JUST ONE NAME, THEN GIVE ME THE TOP FIVE, PLEASE.
Hm… Honestly, I don’t have one person from whom I draw what I know. There are several persons I’m learning from, and each of them has a certain skillset that inspire me. It all depends on what I’m currently looking for, what I want to learn and what topic I want to explore.
There may be many world champions, but at the moment I’m acting in the polish backyard, and I mainly look at those who are effective in our market. People from abroad sometimes have brilliant strategies, some of which do not work on the polish market and need to be tested.
I can’t name only one person, because I learn what inspires me from anyone. I can give some names from which I still gain knowledge or they give me the most of it: Beata Kapcewicz, Bartek Popiel, Marcin Osman. And from foreign markets Frazer Brooks, Max Steingart, Gary Vaynerchuk, Russell Brunson.
HOW BEING YOUNG AFFECTS BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILDING YOUR PERSONAL BRAND? IS IT AN ADVANTAGE OR A DISADVANTAGE. OR MAYBE AGE DOESN’T MATTER MUCH, AND WHAT MATTERS MOST IS NATURAL PREDISPOSITIONS?
To say the truth, at the beginning of building a network marketing, when I didn’t use the Internet, it wasn’t easy. Because of my age not everyone took me seriously. That is why at the beginning of my journey in this business, I would go to meetings with my business partner Karol Szczerkowski.
But when I began to achieve my first successes, I became confident and I built a sense of selfesteem. I understood, that it is not my age that define success or professionalism, but my approach, my knowledge, my skills and my personal brand.
Today, when I have an appointment with an entrepreneur or a potential entrepreneur I pay special attention to the edification of my person by my business partner. I usually ask the person who makes the appointment, to tell them about me, my successes, what I do and how I did it. I think this is the key success factor because it allows me to start the meeting on a par with my interlocutor and the whole thing runs smoothly and pleasantly. But it is known that it is not always like this, so in such situations I uses my experience and sales skills so that I can be treated seriously.
So answering your question whether young age makes business relationships difficult, I’ll say: yes and no. It all depends on us and the way we see ourselves. Fortunately, you can always learn anything.
LET’S GET BACK TO THE PAST. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH NETWORK MARKETING (MLM)? HAVE YOU HEARD OF IT EARLIER? AND IF SO, WHAT WERE YOUR ASSOCIATIONS?
I remember when my peer Patryk called me up in the 3rd grade of our technical school and asked “Would you like to make extra money after school hours?” I said, “Yeah!” and we had a coffee appointment.
I remember when my peer Patryk called me up in the 3rd grade of our technical school and asked “Would you like to make extra money after school hours?” I said, “Yeah!” and we had a coffee appointment.
His friend Jakub came to the meeting with Patryk. Patryk introduced me Jakub, who was 18 years old and said they were developing a new team together in the area Częstochowa (today I know that he had make the edification well). From this meeting the following 2 things I remembered the most:
The first one – Jakub was wearing a very strong men’s perfume. The second one – Jakub told me that their business had an opportunity that no one else had, specifically, that “the once done work can bring you additional income, the so-called renewable
income. For the fact that you have done once, you can earn money from it in the future.” This information stuck very strongly in my heart despite the fact that I did not joined their business then because I wasn’t mentally ready.
OK, NOW I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU FOR SOME RAW DATA. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN PROFESSIONAL NETWORK BUSINESS? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN YOUR CURRENT COMPANY? HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU PERSONALLY RECRUITED AND WHAT IS THE CURRENT SIZE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION?
My adventure with multi-level marketing started in december 2014. Back then I was introduced to the company with which I have been cooperating until today. This is where I grew up as a networker and where I got to know my mentors and teachers Karol Szczerkowski and Norbert Warzyszyński.
But let’s get back to the beginning. I joined the company mainly because of the training, because it was gigantic in comparison to the price. Secondly, because of the product, since I needed to take care of my „spine”. So I was a client and I tried to “operate” in marketing, but I wasn’t successful.
I remember when I was completely out of business for a month, because as a student I had to pass my exams. I passed them and I looked into my account balance which showed $250 and that’s when I asked myself: If something happened to me tomorrow and I couldn’t make money, where would I get it from? Money?

Since then, I have personally recruited 130 clients and business partners, and at the time of this interview (04.2020) my team consists of 2200 people and this number increases every day.
Thank you Konrad Gandera for the first part of our interview.
