ROUND 1: HOW DO YOU RECRUIT PEOPLE?
Honestly, I let people recruit themselves. I share value and knowledge that I learned and I am learning on a daily base and those who associate with my values and find it interesting to connect and ask me more about what I do, I am ready to share with them how I can help them solve their issues and fulfil their dreams.
I have always been a big believer in building and investing in relationships. Ultimately, your best builders will be people who enroll with you because they believe in you, trust you or want to follow you. The reason so many people struggle in this industry is because they move on the enrollment too quickly. You may be able to make up for the ineffectiveness by inviting massive numbers of people and still recruiting a lot, but the problem is that the approach won’t be reproduced well by others. And the lack of duplication will lead to frustration and failure. If I build a real friendship and continue conversations about the other person, take an interest, and always ask how things are going for them without telling them about myself then the time will come that they will express a lack in their life and ask a question about what I am doing. When they ask me, because they trust me…they are ready to join me.
ROUND 2: HOW DO YOU BUILD YOUR BUSINESS?
I am all about other people success. My heart is full of joy every time when I see people winning. When I build team my focus is on how many people we can help go to the next level. And the next level. And the next level. Building business is all about simple, understandable and easy to use action steps that every person no matter their background can do.
When I started in the industry 11 years ago social media was not a widely used tool, so I build “knee to knee” as they say. I got into the living room and spent time doing whiteboard meetings. It also required travelling a lot and spending a lot of time away from home. I believe that social media has become a great tool that can make us much more effective and have used it to connect and start conversations. I still believe that at some point if you want to groom a leader you need to get face to face with them. So I believe in a hybrid of social media and face to face.
ROUND 3: WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGHTS?
I try to be better in so many different things in my life everyday. I would say hard work, consistency and extreme focus are the 3 most important things that drives me everyday. From that I have desire to be more, learn more and do more everyday.
Making other people feel like they can conquer the world.
ROUND 4: WHAT COMPETENCIES DO YOU THINK ARE IMPORTANT IN THIS INDUSTRY?
I think you have to be willing to get dirty first of all. That means you have to be ready to be knocked down, refused from so many people especially in the beginning when you are proving yourself on your way to the top. So really the mentality of not giving out no matter what and figuring things out on a daily base is the most important. Any other skills needed to be successful you learn through the wins and failures.
You must have a crystal clear vision and have the ability to articulate that vision in a way that others can see it. The vision is that they follow and get excited about.
ROUND 5: WHAT TOOLS DO YOU OFFER TO YOUR COOPERATIVES?
Any area of building the business such as recognition systems, duplication systems, online and offline systems of work, presentation tools, steps to get started etc. These are all the attributes we offer and I believe every top leader should have in place for their teams.
To the people that I work with personally I offer my time. I believe in the power of third party validation in this industry and want to make sure that my new people do not have to do this alone. I walk with them until they are competent on their own.
ROUND 6: WHAT PEOPLE DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST INSPIRING IN YOUR LIFE?
I love people that can make something fro nothing. That can see the vision where others are laughing on their ideas. Individuals like Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and other world changers for example.
Because I believe business can teach many life lessons and striving for growth and success in business the right way can force you to progress as a person overall, many of my business mentors are people that I would consider an inspiration in my life overall.
