HELLO DINO NEDELKO. IT’S A PLEASURE TO HAVE YOU HERE ON RANKINGMLM.COM.
Thank you for an opportunity. Absolutely honored and excited to be here.
DINO, YOU SAID THAT EVERYONE CAN DO NETWORK MARKETING. LITERALLY EVERYONE! WHY DO YOU THINK SO?
That is correct. I said that and I strongly believe in it. I started Network Marketing back in 2015 and since then I have seen so many transformations, so many stories with so many different backgrounds that I can simply say that literally everyone can do it! If someone who never finished primary school education can make a significant monthly income, someone who doesn’t know how to write(!) have a major success in the industry, someone who is deaf (cannot speak nor hear) can lead a team of successful people and build successful business, someone who didn’t have $10 to their name prior to joining became one of the top leaders in their local area etc. I have seen too many stories with my own eyes that someone would still say that Network Marketing is not for everyone. However, just to be clear – you have to have an interest, desire, passion and be willing to make it happen.
LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU AND YOUR STORY BETTER. HOW DID YOU START YOUR BUSINESS ADVENTURE IN NETWORK MARKETING?
Well, some people will say my story is not a normal story. I graduated from computer science but never wanted to do computer science. Then I got a job in a car parts store and was doing that for 7 years full time and 5 more years prior to that part time. I started to work when I was 15 during my high school breaks. At the age of 27 one of my “online friends on facebook” sent me a message if I am opened for an opportunity. I am sure many of you who are reading that, exactly know what I am talking about. I said yes, I would like to know more. And after being exposed to this beautiful profession I knew from the first day this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I told myself I waited for something like that for 27 years and at that point it made sense to me why I never wanted to work in profession I graduated. I found that this is real and the most genuine way to help as many people as you want.
HOW MUCH TIME DID YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN MLM? WHAT STRATEGIES DID YOU USE?
I am not going to say it was easy, because absolutely it was not. 5 weeks after I started with my business, I left my full-time job and told myself I will never go back again to work for anyone else. So, for the first 3-6 months I have been working 16 plus hours per day and I had pretty good results. The issue was that no matter how much income I generated I still spent more at the end of the month. So, it seemed that I was successful but in reality, I was approaching the “not even one dollar to my name” status. All the money I made I spent for supporting my team, I felt I am the only one really working, nothing happened if I was not around or the one doing the meeting, helping them place their order etc.
After 6 months I decided to attend my first generic Network Marketing event from Eric Worre and this is where I got belief and confirmation that this industry works if you work it. After the event I got rid of all the excuses why I can’t and why I am afraid to do something and by the end of my first year I started to make some great income already. The biggest strategy in the beginning I needed to use was the strategy to get myself out of comfort zone and face my fears and get rid of all the excuses. Skills and knowledge came after that.
HOW HAS BEING INVOLVED IN NETWORK MARKETING CHANGED YOUR LIFE, PROFESSIONALLY, PERSONALLY OR BOTH?
Transformation has been amazing and I am still amazed what life is offering every single day because of that. My own definition of freedom has 3 important parts. Health freedom, Financial freedom and Time freedom. I am proud to say that this profession can offer us all of that in abundance. Professionally, I became so much better person in every single area of business and ability to handle important situations. Personally, I grew up probably by thousands of times. Most of the time we don’t see that much change on ourselves, but people around me keep telling me story after story how much I have changed and became a better version of myself. One thing that didn’t change is being myself no matter how much success I have, how much money I make or how much impact I do. I will never forget where I came from.
DINO, YOU ARE IN YOUR THIRTIES. SO IN YOUR OPINION, BEING YOUNG, OR MORE GENERALLY YOUTH, IS IT AN ADVANTAGE OR DISADVANTAGE IN NETWORK MARKETING?
Honestly, in my opinion, every age group you can name it have advantages and disadvantages. What really matters is what you put your focus on. If you focus on your disadvantages you will always struggle but if you work on your advantages and become a master of what you are already good at – you can eliminate the things that you feel you are not really good at. Or get a help in areas you are not good at. For example, if someone is an older generation I don’t expect them to use Instagram or Tik-Tok as their main tool of business growth. But what they have as an advantage is the genuine connections they have built over the years, credibility and circle of influence they have established, experiences in communication, life experiences etc. And on the other hand, younger people are mostly more computer literate and anything it has to do with spending their day with technology is what they like and want to do. I learned from one of my mentors recently that the future of successful people is not the ability to speak and write but it’s the ability to learn, un-learn and re-learn.
WHAT DOES ‘TEAM SPIRIT’ MEAN TO YOU WHEN IT COMES TO NETWORK MARKETING?
It means a lot of different things but most importantly I would say that the essence of successful organization is team work. Whoever want to go their own way is thinking just short-term success but doesn’t see long term consequences. The ability to be a great communicator and to connect people with different backgrounds, different mindset, goals, mentality, expectations, talents, egos and so on is so precious and rare. That’s the ability of highly skilled leaders. But when you do that, when you can synchronize all those into a one unity, there is unlimited power within them. Team spirit is putting everyone else first and helping others to reach their goals many times also by sacrificing your own wished, goals and ideas. Better you are in coordinating all these things, better the team and the spirit in the team will be.
DINO, HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE AN EFFECTIVE LEADER?
Leader is someone who is always leading. Leader creates the way, goes the way, shows the way and fix the way for others to follow. So, anything we do as leaders have to be with purpose and intention. Effective leader will be very conscious of the time spent for tasks on a daily base and will always strive for progress. In Network Marketing we call this IPA (Income producing activities). Effective leader will focus on IPAs as much time as possible every single day. That will bring progress to the entire organization.
PLEASE TELL US: WHY SHOULD ANYONE WORK WITH YOU?
Well, first of all, everyone should make the decision why they should work with and for themselves. When you have made that decision then you can seek for advice, shortcuts, mentoring etc. You have heard me saying multiple times already here that I learned things from my mentors. I believe being mentored by someone who has gone through the process that you want to go is crucial. In fact, lack of mentorship can completely frustrate and break the person. I have seen so many times in our teams all around the world. Hungry, coachable and success ready people joined the business through someone who didn’t have a clue what they are doing. And if those people wouldn’t be identified and picked by mentors and coaches who can guide them and help them, they would struggle and most of the times they would quit on their dreams. My strong advice to everyone would be to find a person that fits your personality and your style at least to the certain point that you like working with the person. Find a mentor that can show you the faster way to success. I always say there is no shortcuts to success. Work still need to be put in, but it can definitely be faster if you can avoid all the mistakes mentors have done while they have accomplished what you want to accomplish.
DINO, I KNOW THAT YOU ARE CONSTANTLY EXPANDING YOUR STRUCTURE. ARE THERE ANY DIFFERENCES IN RECRETUITING PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD?
Absolutely. One of my mentors told me years ago…. Ability of you to adapt will determine your success. With adapting I mean adapting to the culture, adapting to the way people live and do their business. You have to get into “dirts” of the places you are. You have to become a “citizen” of the culture you are working with. When you understand that, everything else follows. Your ability to listen, showing the respect and being transparent, genuine and honest with anyone you work with will set you for endless possibilities.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE AFRICAN MARKET?
You just asked a question that I can write an entire book about it. I LOVE this market. In my opinion, this is going to be the fastest growing market in any industry worldwide in the next 10 years. If you have love for people and genuine interest of bringing better quality of life to people in Africa, you will be amazed how much love you will receive. And how much you will learn and how many life changing experiences you will have. In the past 4 years I have been to Africa over 40(!) times. That’s on average almost every month. I guess that tells you a lot of how much I love this continent. And yes, I do travel a lot. On average I do over 100 flights each year.
DO YOU HAVE A LIFE MOTTO?
There is no journey that’s too long enough if freedom is the destination.
DINO, HOW DO YOU SEE YOUR FUTURE?
I am really starting to understand the importance of life from so many different angles, how powerful we are and how much we can accomplish. My ambitions are definitely very high. I am tireless workaholic that never gets tired of work because I learned how to combine business and pleasure every single day. I learned to listen to my body, my heart and my mind. And as long as I keep all the parts of my life happy I will be able to serve and provide an impact to millions and millions. I believe future have so many big things ahead of us. It’s just up to every one of us to take them and enjoy the process!
