FUTURENET
FutureNet is a social networking site, thanks to which every user can profit from the advertisements sold on it. He had an interesting model, throwing a gauntlet to Facebook sharing the revenue from its services with users. FutureNet pays for such trivial activities as likes, chatting, adding posts, commenting, etc. It promotesitself under the slogans “future-forward business”, “brilliant marketing plan”, “external revenues”. The beginning was spectacular. To date, no company with a Polish has won such a number of customers and partners around the world. It currently operates outside of Poland in a revised model. A big advantage of FN is that despite leaving the Polish settled with its partners in the country. In our opinion, if it were not for the media rebuke to the FN and the suspicion of being a pyramid scheme, the company would continue to grow. There is a lot to learn from this example.
WORLD VENTURES
World Ventures offers travel services (excursions, accommodation, flights). It is developing well in the Asian and US markets, officially there is no representation in Poland or the Polish side yet. Twice she tried to exist in the country, but unfortunately it did not work out. The reason was a controversial career plan and a product that was not as good as promised. World Ventures is not the first and not the last MLM company that needs time and patience to adapt to Polish realities and mentalities.
AKUNA
Akuna is famous for selling dietary supplements and herbal products. Ten years ago, it was a powerful MLM company, famous for its expansion and high commissions paid to its distributors. One day, it stocked its distributors and raised product prices, which negatively affected the company’s morale. Unfortunately, most leaders have left, entailing their structures. The company still operates, but on a much smaller scale. Of course, this was a bug to fix, but Akuna did not react in time. A valuable lesson for those who manage these types of companies.
LOU PRE
Everything seemed to go in the right direction. . . Two so-called business sharks came up with the idea of starting a company with extra products in the MLM system. This business has been kicked off by people who have experience and know how to do it. Their job was to make as many people as possible buy products. And how to do it as soon as possible? Lou Pre has acquired two leaders from a rival company who started the business in two years. Unfortunately, after a while, the company lost its vigilance and most structures moved to new competition.
Summary
The market is volatile. Running an MLM company can be more difficult than running a traditional business. Most mistakes could have been avoided. Some of the above brands are disappearing, some have already disappeared for good from the market and the trace of them is increasingly blurring in the minds of consumers. It’s easy to judge companies from the side-lines, but it’s worth considering the reasons and going deeper. We recommend that you use the knowledge of someone with experience, sometimes use scientific knowledge and learn from failures and successes, your own. There are a lot of direct selling companies on the market that nobody hears about. It’s a simple way to forget. We, as a media group, are engaged in building a personal brand every day!
