JASMIN, THE LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME THAT YOU ARE REALLY INTO SPORTS. DOES IT MEAN THAT YOU ARE ALSO THE COMPETETIVE TYPE? AND IF IT IS THE CASE, DO YOU THINK THAT BEING COMPETITIVE HELPS ACHEVIENG GOALS IN NETWORK MARKETING?
Your little bird is right, Peter. I’ve been in sports my entire life – I love the movement & freedom that comes from being able to do more and become more. And I’ve done so many team sports as well as individual sports. I am competitive, but my competitiveness changed during my life. I remember being a kid who would feel physical pain if I didn’t win when competing against the others to getting inspiration from those who excel today. The change that happened is the one where I don’t compete against others but compete against myself WITH others so that we can all achieve more. This type of competitiveness definitely helps, and in my case is a moving force in achieving goals. There is one thing I will never forget what one of my coaches said, “You are never too tired to make one more step.” This saying has led me through so many of my challenges, and I try to set an example of that for my team to follow.
I ALSO KNOW THAT YOU ARE A BLACK BELT IN TAEKWONDO. SO WHAT IS YOUR STYLE IN MARTIAL ARTS AND WHAT IS YOUR STYLE IN NETWORK MARKETING?
Competing in martial arts taught me to be focused and observant and take every opportunity to punish the mistakes my opponent would make. Sometimes I would provoke those mistakes, and sometimes they just made mistakes because they weren’t focused. In my business, I use the same principle, but I replace punishment with reward. By staying focused on the people I speak with, when they share their desires and dreams, or problems and challenges, I am able to provide a solution on how to get what they want, solve the problem they have, or tackle a challenge they are facing. So I’d say it’s the same style, but a different application.
JASMIN, YOU HAD A CORPORATE JOB AND FOR SOME YEARS NOW YOU HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN NETWORK MARKETING. YOU KNOW BUSINESS FROM BOTH SIDE. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO IN YOUR OPINION?
Well, I’ve had a corporate career working with a few companies from different industries. I enjoyed what I did, especially the people I worked with and the relationships I’ve had an opportunity to develop. And as you may have assumed, I’ve been asked this question before.
And in the short run, there are some advantages and disadvantages to both business models. Of course, the job offers some level of security for those who have not developed confidence for entrepreneurship, and it does take some time for a network marketing business to develop, you do need to make a small investment, and yes, it does take an effort to get out of your comfort zone and start to intentionally work on yourself. But let me share some of the main differences between a job and a network marketing business…
At a job you exchange time for salary and usually limited bonuses; in network marketing may work the same hours, but your finances increase over time.
At a job, most people need to get approval to take time off when they need it; in network marketing, you decide when you wanna work, and when you wanna take time off.
At a job you have a boss; in network marketing, you are the boss (I like to say that my boss is my goals and my schedule).
At a job you can get fired; in network marketing, you are the only one that can get you fired.
At a job you have to wait for somebody else to move, get fired, quit, or die to get promoted, and even then there is usually no exact criteria for the promotion; in network marketing your promotion depends entirely on you based on the exact sets of criteria – you know exactly what you need to do in order to move to the next level. Also, most jobs require you to organize your life around your work; network marketing allows you to organize your work around your life.
For me, it was this time-freedom that got me hooked. I can be where I want to be, with whom I want to be, and that is entirely my choice, and nobody else’s.
WHO DO YOU LIKE TO WORK WITH THE MOST? WHAT TYPE OF PEOPLE? AND HOW CAN ANYONE GAIN YOUR TRUST?
One thing about network marketing is that anyone can join. And you can’t stop them π People come with various motives and bring different experiences, skills, and attitudes to the table. Regardless of their background and past, I work best with people who are seriously looking for a change, who are teachable, and who are willing to pay the price of success. I also work well with people who approach with a healthy level of skepticism since they do their due diligence and are amazing at this when they make a decision.
OK JASMIN, LET’S GET BACK IN TIME A LITTLE. HOW DID YOU GET INTRODUCED TO NETWORK MARKETING AND, HONESTLY, WHAT WAS THAT EXPERIENCE LIKE FOR YOU?
My first experience with network marketing didn’t get me excited about the industry. Quite frankly, I built such a strong prejudice against the industry because of the way I was approached. It was very aggressive, and at the time I could not discern the industry from the individuals who were doing it. One of those people was a very ambitious family member whom I loved dearly. A few years later, when I started to work for a network marketing company in a corporate role, I learned that it wasn’t the industry, but that my poor experience was a result of dealing with people who didn’t understand what their role was and they weren’t properly trained. Once I got to know the industry from the inside, I fell in love with it. Now, it is impossible for me to imagine doing anything else.
WHY DO YOU WHAT YOU DO? WHAT IS YOUR DRIVE IN MLM, YOUR PERSONAL βWHY”? THE MONEY, THE FREEDOM, THE THRILL? SOMETHING ELSE?
As I mentioned earlier, time-freedom is the thing that got me hooked. Most of the time, people who don’t work have time but don’t have money. People who work and have money, usually don’t have enough time. I’ve done both and I have friends on both sides of the fence. This industry enabled me to use my time based on my priorities in life and organize my business around my life. To get real, a few years back I had a family situation that required me to be available and to make more money than I was making at the time. And I experienced helplessness and frustration that came from that feeling. In those moments of desperation, network marketing was a solution, and I owe a debt of gratitude to all those who helped me realize that. I am so profoundly grateful to have had the courage and wisdom to make this decision.
Another “why” is connected to my passion. I love to teach. I discovered this passion a long time ago. And I taught every opportunity I got. I would teach pro-bono, but that didn’t pay bills. I do lectures where they pay me, and I love doing it, but it pays only an active income. Network marketing enabled me to teach as many people as are willing to learn virtually for FREE while being able to build a passive income depending on their success. It is a win-win.
OK, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE STATS. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN NETWORK MARKETING AND YOUR CURRENT COMPANY? HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU PERSONALLY ENROLLED INTO YOUR COMPANY? WHAT IS THE CURRENT SIZE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION?
I have 8 years of corporate network marketing experience. In my last company, where I worked for about two years, I actually made a switch from corporate to a distributor. I’ve been a distributor for almost 4 years now. I’ve personally sponsored about 35 people (not including the customers). The organization today is a little over 9000 people large.
Nowadays a lot of business happens online. There is a simple system that we developed that consists of classic recruitment steps that we moved into an online form. It goes back to utilizing people’s personal interests based on their dreams and challenges and inviting them to learn about our company’s concept. We use webinars, live streams, recorded videos as well as 2-on-1 video calls. We have the videos that we use for follow-up questions and most of the exposure process is done by referring people to either a tool or a 3rd party validation. This way we also train a prospect during the recruitment process, where they usually see that they can do that and in a way resolve confidence concerns about them doing the work. Once a person registers, they get quick start materials with 48-hour and first-week assignments to get them started well. They also become a part of an online community where they receive information about events, get recognition for various results, and have an opportunity to share.

RAIN INTERNATIONAL. IS IT THE BEST NETWORK COMPANY IN THE WORLD? IF YES, WHY? IF NOT, WHY? π
I believe it is for those who love health and wellness, and I will explain why. There are soooo many network marketing companies today, and I guess the best is the one that works best for you. There are people who love to work with services, those who love to work with digital products, and others who love physical products. In physical products category, there are so many options. Health and wellness is something I am passionate about. I studied over a hundred different companies, and I am so thankful to Aaron Palmer for introducing me to the concept of seed-based nutrition, and its founder, Byron Belka, who is the main guy in Rain International. There are so many good products around in our industry – herbs, natural capsules & pills, super juice products, teas, and oils. But if you think about it, every single one of those trends has one thing in common – they are all made from seeds. Rain International is building a platform for this new category, one that encompasses everything that all the other trends and categories, and has the potential to do more than all others together. This is a big vision, but one that has a strong foundation and I love being a part of it. And now to answer your question: It is the best company for me! π
AND WHAT IS THE BUSINESS FAILURE -IF YOU HAVE ONE – THAT YOU MOST CHERISH AND WHY? WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM IT?
When I started my network marketing business, I wanted to build a network of partners, but it has been quite challenging because I’ve had such a strong customer service background that I kept falling into trap of servicing my downline. As a result, duplication wasn’t happening and that was quite painful for me, but also for my downline. It took me over two years to start moving away from that. But I am truly thankful to have gone through that because it moved me to get out of my comfort zone, change & simplify things, and make my business duplicable. Now it is so simple, that it looks like a child’s game. You still have to work it, but it is simple.
JASMIN, I THINK THAT YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME IF I SAY THAT SPORT IS BASED ON ONE THING: COMPETITION. FOLLOWING THAT LOGIC, WE CAN SAY THAT WORK IS BASED ON EFFECTIVENESS, FRIENDSHIP ON TRUST AND ADVERTISING ON HAPPINESS, FOR INSTANCE. HOW ABOUT NETWORK MARKETING? WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT NETWORK MARKETING IS BASED ON?
If I have to pick one thing, then it would be consistency. If you are consistent, your skill level increases and you become more effective. If you are consistent in building relationships you will further your friendships. If you are consistent, you engender trust. If you are consistent, the compound effect of it brings you to the place you wanna be at. Consistency!
JASMIN, DO YOU HAVE A LIFE MOTTO?
About 10 years ago, I wanted to give a greater meaning to what I do. It wasn’t easy to find the right words, but I did come up with a personal motto that helped me to understand what it is: “Motivate people to excel by building a relationship of trust and inspiring productive activities that lead to the accomplishment of goals and achievement of personal dreams.” The more I think about this business and what it does, I realized that I am actually matching great people with an exciting future… So many people misunderstand this industry. It is about helping! It is about showing others a better way. It is about freedom.
HOW DO YOU SEE YOUR FUTURE JASMIN?
I will tell you this. I have a vision of my future, and it is grand because it includes so many people. It will help achieve not only my goals but the goals of many others. And I am opened to have anyone who wants it to be a part of it. Now, the thing I love the most about it, even if I don’t achieve all of it, I will die a happy man knowing that I lived my life working toward it.
FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU. ALL THE BEST JASMIN. THANK YOU FOR THE INTERVIEW!
