ROUND 1: HOW DO YOU RECRUIT PEOPLE?
TOMASZ PAWLAK
In the first stage I build a relationship with a person, I like to get to know the person and I let know myself (at the beginning we need to like and trust each other). Then I find out what human values are guided by, what is important to their goals/dreams and the most important – challenges to go through. Very often people in the Network Marketing industry try to recruit everyone. This is a big mistake in my opinion, because introducing the wrong person to the organization is like throwing a rotten apple into a box of good apples. I always ask my potential Partner what values he will bring to my team before starting cooperation and I contract his commitment offering help on my part.
KALPESH PATEL
Most struggle with this in the beginning because they think they need skills and experience. It does help but the evidence shows that the most excited ones manage to recruit before they get the skills. I am always enthusiastic and excited about the doors that open up for others if people say yes and get involved. I sell dreams and possibilities. Give people what they want, not what they need.
ROUND 2: HOW DO YOU BUILD YOUR BUSINESS?
TOMASZ PAWLAK
As for years of high activity in this industry, I have been in a few companies. I choose carefully in which I decide to act. After Due Diligence, I recognize whether the company is noteworthy and I make a business lunch in place of the start. This is a well-planned operation, where I carefully select the key leaders and take very intensive actions in all possible markets where the company operates. I pay attention to building solid relationships and constant contact with Inner Circle (Top Leaders circle from my organization). Then I create a system of action or analyze the one the company has.
KALPESH PATEL
Nobody taught us about business in schools or colleges. Even universities only teach an MBA which teaches you how to work for someone else’s business, not how to own & run one.
Unless you were fortunate enough to be born into the world of business, It takes massive growth, a total shift in Thinking, Mindset, Beliefs, Language, Discipline, Focus, Information and Skills development. Then implementing this into your daily actions and learning from your mistakes.
So, how do you build a business… by getting started, read, watch, listen to and learn from those who are where you are going, get a coach, following through on promises and improve as you grow.
ROUND 3: HOW DID YOU GET TO THE INDUSTRY?
TOMASZ PAWLAK
As a teenager, I watched my parents scientists. Dad was a chemistry professor who would be invited to Japan, USA, mother of a biologist, pioneer of the Baccalaureate IB in Poland. I was wondering why we have to choose between winter and summer holidays, why we don’t go to fancy restaurants more often … To this day it is difficult for me to understand how these wonderful people could be so poorly paid. Even then I was thinking about a different, better way. As a child, I spent some time in the USA and when I found out that companies from the United States are entering Poland, I was delighted! That’s how I started selling directly and the Rainbow company. Then there was another discoveris about MLM and my admiration started to grow.
KALPESH PATEL
A friend was persistent enough to ignore my resistance at the time. I was 26 and in a very low phase of my life, having lost my father 3 years earlier. She kept on re inviting me, followed up, kept me curious and eventually dragged me to a meeting 2 hours away. It was the best thing she could have done for me, the day that turned my life around. I walked into a room of around 1000 people who were alive, engaged and on fire. It reminded me how I was before I gave up on myself.
ROUND 4: WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGHTS?
TOMASZ PAWLAK
I build relationships quickly and I am a very positive and almost always smiling person. They say I have highly developed leadership, training and sales competences. I always look for the positive, even in the worst situation. I love meeting people, teaching them and learning from them. What I always enjoy the most in this industry is when I can enjoy the honor of observing how people grow and release their incredible potential.
KALPESH PATEL
Personal Development, Empathy and Understanding, Communication Skills, Team and Leadership Development, Adaptability and the Love of Making a Difference.
ROUND 5: WHAT COMPETENCIES DO YOU THINK ARE IMPORTANT IN THIS INDUSTRY?
TOMASZ PAWLAK
To succeed in this industry, a person must have an ardent desire to succeed. You also need a high work ethic and big dreams = goals. Hard competencies are primarily effective invitations. Many stop actively building their business. And so there are generally 4 base points:
Active prospekting and list building (list like Lenin – eternally alive)
Inviting / Presentation
Closure
Introduction of a new business partner
KALPESH PATEL
A burning desire to succeed and all of the above.
ROUND 6: WHY WOULD SOMEONE WORK WITH YOU?
TOMASZ PAWLAK
Because I am a very positive person with a huge amount of energy. Even if you don’t have success in MLM, something good will happen to you in my environment. 🙂 I have a system that leads to some success because I have strong and specific values – loyalty, trust, 100% commitment. They say I am extremely effective at removing obstacles under my Partners’ feet. I can release human potential … I am a good trainer and mentor – I focus on an honest relationship.
KALPESH PATEL
Because I care about peoples success, have learnt from the best, have a proven history of hitting the top leadership ranks & incomes in 6 companies, I’ve been listed & recognised as being one of the best speakers and trainers in Europe over the last 23 years in the industry.
