A long time ago, I heard the painful phrase “business never overtakes a leader. ” It was painful that I was building a business in the MLM industry myself at the time, and although it was growing great up to a point, there were times when it wasn’t so great: the group “stood still”, did not grow, and sometimes even shrined. And while I doubled and tripled to motivate them and inspire people to work more hard (do you know that?), my efforts didn’t seem to be enough. What was the reason for this? Where did I make a mistake?
WHAT IS THE CRUTCH OF YOUR STRUGGLES WITH BUILDING A MLM BUSINESS?
Of course, there may be many factors of this state of affairs, but let’s take today on the wallpaper one of them, quite crucial, one over which YOU YOURSELF HAVE THE GREATEST IMPACT. Your DISCIPLINE and, consequently, your ability to achieve your goals in MLM industry. Let’s take a closer look at this.
WHAT DOES GOAL PLANNING IN MLM BUSINESS USUALLY LOOK LIKE?
For most people who are not passionate about this activity, because they think that “planning does not work”, “my plans do not go out anyway”, “planning will kill my flexibility and spontaneity”,
planning is limited to:
- thinking “what do I want to achieve?”
- putting in your head “how to do it?”
- lead time. . .
Although usually this realization is already very “stretched”, because there are unforeseen situations, daily duties, the need for reorganization.
WHAT DOES THE LACK OF A CLEAR AND SAVED PLAN MEANS?
The lack of a clear and saved plan also means that we do not act effectively, and what in the head (or mobile phone) does not always find room for realization in real life. Some of course have some of their notebooks or calendars, but they don’t really work with them effectively. Rather, they record current tasks that fall into the way they are done, or someone will impose them on them in advance (such as training). They forget that in order to achieve the goals in MLM business, it is not enough to think about goals, but also to plan their implementation, because in most cases, the plans are “not being achieved” not because the goals were inappropriate, but because they were incorrectly embedded in time. Or they weren’t completely embedded in time, because we focused only on the loose fantasy that it would be fun to achieve something, but no real plan was prepared for it, from which we would clearly see how many phones, recruitment meetings or implementing a new person we would have to do and how long it would take us.
HOW PLANNING IN MLM BUSINESS IS IMPORTANT?
Some people set targets, plan to achieve them, but completely skip the monitoring stage. And it also blows them off the path to their goal, because after one, two or three weeks, when it turned out that it was necessary to analyse what has happened, draw conclusions and make a correction of the plan of the MLM business. People give up, saying that “planning does not work” or “I am not fit for it” or – my favourites – “I do not have time”. I live in chaos, but I don’t have time to sit down for fifteen minutes to write down what’s to be done and think for a moment about whether it’s in my goals at all. A bit like a guy on a construction site who runs with a cane left and right for half a day, and then the foreman asks him: “Lord, what are you so running back and forth with an empty tray?” And the worker replies: – Mr. Foreman, such that there is no time to load!
