Enterprise of the Year 2020 – certificate of appreciation for MLM companies

It is about time to announce which companies have been awarded the Enterprise of the Year 2020 this year. Before that, it is necessary to mention that a year has passed since the coronavirus took over the world. And therefore, in consequence of immediate and in some cases contentious restrictions also lockdown many businesses collapsed. Their cost of maintenance was too high and many of them were not prepared for such a long break without any income. In most cases, help from the government was negligible. As a result of this the most affected industries are gastronomy, fitness, events, and hotel businesses. This does not mean, however, that other sectors were in a better position.

In April last year, we informed you about how coronavirus affects the Multi Level Marketing industry. We reached out to several MLM companies and provided you with the official declarations of these, which gave us quick answers. Today, after a long time, we can already draw some conclusions. Contrary to expectations it turned out the direct marketing sector recorded an average sales increase of 30% and a similar increase in the recruitment of new distributors. Amway is one of the world’s largest direct selling companies. It was founded in 1959 and currently operates in over 100 international markets. In 2018, the company’s total turnover reached PLN 32 billion.

Betterware was founded in London in 1928. In the 1960s, the company was recognized as one of the six leading suppliers in the household industry. In the 1990s, the value of the company’s shares increased so the Financial Times placed them on the list of the 500 best companies.

Herbalife Nutrition is a global leader in the delivering of meal replacement products, dietary supplements and skincare products. The company was founded in 1980 and currently operates in over 90 countries around the world.

Juice Plus – the company’s origins date back to 1993. It is a global business that is successful in over 20 countries around the world. The offer includes various types of supplements that strengthen the immune system and protect cells against oxidative stress.

Kannaway it is the first listed cannabis company in the United States. It has been operating since 2009. Kamway was also the first to introduce hemp products into the direct selling industry. Today, it operates globally in several countries around the world and is very successful.

Life Vantage – a company founded in 1988 with headquarters in the United States. For 10 years, it has been at the forefront of discovering nutrients that can relate to leading scientific aging theories and change the concept of health.

Mary Kay – American, private company, based in Texas. It deals with the distribution of cosmetics in multi-level marketing. It was the 6th largest MLM company in the world in 2018 with a wholesale turnover of $ 3.25 billion, according to Direct Selling News.

Nu Skin Enterprises – the company was founded in 1984. Develops and markets personal care products and dietary supplements under the Nu Skin and Pharmanex brands.

Young Living – is a multi-level network marketing company founded in 1993. It is based in the United States. Works globally. The offer includes essential oils and other related products.

Younique – American company operating in Multi Level Marketing. It was founded in 2012. Its headquarters are in the United States. Its offer includes cosmetic products.

Your Fit Way – a company whose idea dates back to 2016. It was created out of a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle through a multi-level marketing structure. Its product is an application in the form of a game. The application was launched at the end of July 2020, and it is already used by customers in over 57 countries around the world.

Zinzino – a company founded in 2007 with headquarters in Sweden. Their offer includes top-class nutritional supplements, skin care products and lifestyle products based on tests and research.
